From roughly late November through March the road is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday only (plus some holidays), and only when it has been plowed and avalanche conditions allow — check the park's gate status before driving up. Visitor services at the top have been limited since the Hurricane Ridge Day Lodge burned down in May 2023.
